ROBOTS:

Robots are usually used for industrial repetitive tasks. The antropomorphic robots present in the laboratory are two six-mobility -degrees robots with an almost spherical job space. They are equipped with a pneumatic hand (with two and three auto-centering fingers).

 

AUTOMATED
WAREHOUSE:

The main task of a warehouse system is to store and retrieve goods. In our approach, the SU movements in an automated warehouse are carried out by subdividing the given mission into several basic handling sequences. Actually our group is investigating on the extension of this approach to more complex and generalized warehouse/material handling systems (use of outsourcing, maritime logistics, etc.).

CONTROLLERS:

Programmable logic controllers (PLC) are computers used for automation of industrial processes, designed, unlike general-purpose computers, for multiple input and output arrangements and heat and dust resistance. Programs are usually written in a standard language (IEC 61131-3) and executed in hard real-time.
